








One day Inka trail – Machu Picchu
Embark on an adventure along the Sacred Trail, another part of the Inca trail. As you hike through the cloud forest, you’ll be surrounded by amazing plants and animals. Don’t miss the chance to explore the lost city of Machu Picchu, which was rediscovered in 1911!
Itinerary
Early pick up from your hotel then we to transfer you to the Ollantaytambo train station, to board a scenic train through the mountains with beautiful scenery until the Km 104, the starting point of our trek. After crossing the Sacred river of the Incas, we show permits and passports at the check point and the start our hike passing by the archaeological site of Chachabamba, with an elevation of 2150m (7095ft), and after three or four hour climbing we arrive to Wiñaywayna 2700m (8856ft) which is considered one of the most beautiful archaeological sites of the Inca Trail. After we walk through the ancient ruins we continue through the semitropical cloud forest area, until Intipunku (The Sun Gate) where we get our first view of the legendary Machu Picchu 2400m (7872ft). We walk down hill and we pass by Machupicchu for nice view and then we take the bus down to Aguas Calientes to your hotel.

After an early breakfast, we take a shuttle bus up to Machu Picchu to enjoy a private guided tour exploring one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the enigmatic Machupicchu that was never found by the Spaniards, but it was well protected by nature hundred years and exposed to the world in 1911. After walking around, you will go back to Aguas Calientes train station and take the train back to Ollantaytambo then take our vehicle to Cusco.
